After graduating from Gettysburg College in 2018, I worked for 2 years at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston before coming to UMich. I applied to graduate school successfully a second time after facing rejection the first time, which allowed me to self-reflect and intensely consider my role and future in science. I am a first-generation Asian-American, and I enjoy engaging in dialogue surrounding AAPIs and women in STEM as well as dissecting aspects of the scientific community at large.
