I am the first woman in my family to go to university and the first person to go to graduate school. It wasnt always easy, but it helped me to remind myself that latinas are capable, ALWAYS, and even in environments where we are underrepresented. I am motivated by being a pioneer in my family for education and learning, and paving the way for other girls like me who want to change the world
