Puerto Rico, 1st Gen PhD, PREP Alum, Alum Of Minority Serving Institution

I am a 1st year Cancer Biology Ph.D. student born and raised in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico. I did my BS in Microbiology at the University of Puerto Rico, Humacao Campus, and a PREP program at the University of Michigan. As a Ph.D. student, I look forward to expanding science diversity and serving as a mentor for any student in STEM to help them achieve their goals.
