I am Nathalie Momplaisir, a rising 4th year Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Pharmacology. I earned my Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry from Tuskegee University.
My thesis work is focused on identifying and characterizing novel signaling pathways downstream of the most common class of FDA-approved drug targets, which are G protein-coupled receptors.
In addition to my scientific interests, I use my platform to continue my work in mentoring and outreach to eliminate disparities in STEM opportunities for underrepresented groups.
