I grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and most of my family still lives there. I am the first person in my family to pursue a Ph.D. My mom was diagnosed with cancer my junior year of college, and she passed away five months before I started graduate school. I'm interested in a career at the intersection of graduate education and science policy.
