I was born and raised in Southern California, the IE area. I'm not technically a first generation student, but ever since going down the path of STEM I had zero guidance from my family when it came to higher education. My academic journey was at many times unclear, nonlinear, and challenging to say the least. I spent 5 years in the community college system before transferring to UC Santa Cruz where I finished undergrad in 2020. During the latter part of my time there I was founder and CEO of a biotech company, and moved to the bay area. I would love to be a resource for those following a similar path, or those who need encouragement.
