I was born and raised in the Bay Area, studied Biology and History at Caltech for my undergrad, and worked for 2.5 years at a biotech startup in the Bay, so this is my first time living in the Midwest (and boy was it a change). I know how difficult it is to be out, especially in professional settings, so I'm happy to support fellow queer and nonbinary trainees!
