I am an adoptee from China and first-generation college student. My journey to graduate school would not have been possible without the support of my mentors. In addition to becoming a strong researcher, I hope to grow the skills necessary to become a meaningful mentor and educator for students and hope to engage in as much outreach as possible to increase the accessibility of STEM in our communities.
