I am the eldest of 3 and the first in my family to attend college. I was born and raised in NYC, I am Mexican American, and I did my undergrad at the University of Wisconsin-Madison so I am familiar with feeling out of place in the midwest/a mostly white environment. Although I love science and research, my career goals (interests) include intellectual property law (law school), technology transfer, and consulting.
