I am a third year in Genetics in David Ginsburg’s lab. I did my undergraduate in Biology at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. I also worked at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles as a Research Assistant in Takako Makita’s lab for three years. I am currently on the Science Technology Public Policy certificate programs in hopes of having a career at studying the intersection between genetics and policy. I am on the exec team of UM Young Science Innovators (UMYScI) where we provide a weeklong STEAM summer camp for middle school students and just started a virtual mentoring program with an 8th grade classroom.
