I was born and raised in Santa Fe, NM to Mexican immigrant parents. I received my undergraduate degree in Chemistry from the University of New Mexico (Go Lobos!). After graduating, I became a PREP (post-bacc) student, here at the University of Michigan. I liked my experience so much, I decided to stay here in pursuit of my PhD. I enjoy playing sports (basketball, football, and futbol) and playing with my dog.
